Awesome plasma tv August 8, 2010 CrazyBeats315 (Chittenango, NY USA) tv is for lack of a better word awesome! only negative comment i have is the glare but all you have to do is shut the curtains. the sound isn't bad either i have a small living room so the sound travels well but a sound bar and subwoofer would for me make it perfect like being at the movies or arcade. one feature i love is the tv's internet capabilities you get youtube, pandora radio, facebook, and netflix and more!
I'm very happy with my purchase August 2, 2010 G. George (Boston, MA USA) I've had this TV for a few months now and love it. The sound was ok, but with a good receiver, the overall package is great.
Finally a plasma with a Energy Star rating May 1, 2010 Greg Murray 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this TV for two main reasons. First reason was that it is Energy Star rated. Plasmas have taken a while to get there but finally got it done or at least Panasonic did. The first generation of plasmas produced to much heat for my liking.Watching TV should not require that you turn on a heater as well. I have blankets to keep me comfortable. Second reason was the rating that Consumer Reports gave this plasma as well as the ratings for most of the Panasonic line of plasmas.Picture quality is excellent. Audio quality is not the greatest but I will be able to spice it up.
It's ok. April 15, 2010 Jose Morales (Fort Worth, TX) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my second flat screen TV and it's ok. It must be an older model that has not yet been updated but it's a bit dated looking from the back. The other TV I have is a SAMSUNG PN50B650 and it's way better, easier to use and a great picture. This Panasonic it's ok, picture is very good in 1080 but ok when it's less. The reason I got it was because it is highly rated.
Inredible Picture Quality / Some Features Could Be Better April 4, 2010 Damonio You will not find a better picture quality in the price range, the only equal quality TV's I have found were 2-3 times as much in price.
I don't like how the audio out changes the sound format, however running the digatal audio directly from your DVD, etc. to your receiver is the way to go anyways.
I waited years to find a TV that I thought was worth buying, this is an incredible TV. HD Broadcasting is still far behind, I am disapointed in how HD still changes the display size, however this has nothing to do with the TV itself.
Video on Demand works great. The only other comment is what others have said, I wish they put a quick button on the remote to change the display type, i.e., Vivid, Custom, THX, etc.
Blu-ray is astonishing.
