easy to operate July 5, 2010 Thomas Richard Kennedy (Spring Hill, FL) I replaced a Haier unit that died after 6 months. This unit
is easy to set up. I hope it LASTS

Well pleased overall. Receives more stations over the air than two larger TV's I own. The small "pole" antenna is easy to transport and does a great job when elevated above any metallic items surrounding it. The "." key on the remote serves as a "-" for digital stations.
I'm hard of hearing and bought this mainly to use with ear phones, not for during electrical outages but assume I could plug it into my car to recharge during an outage.
I haven't found a way to make the remote go up/down in a logical fashion, so have to punch in the station ID, or just keep pushing until the station I want comes up.
Love my lil TV!!! June 15, 2010 A. Delaney (Richardson, TX United States) Now I am able to monitor weather on television instead of listing to NOAA! Great reception and fantastic to have on hand.
Wonderful June 1, 2010 New Shopper We bought this product for a gift and were very pleased with the quality of the picture and ease of set-up. This makes a great second tv for someone so that they can easily carry a tv from bedroom, to kitchen, etc...
A cheap, but acceptable, small LCD TV, that runs on 12v May 26, 2010 William Joel Hurless (Jefferson, AR) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had got the "MyGoTV 7" Portable Digital Television DPT170D+"
for using down in my storm shelter and liked it so much I wanted
to keep it for use in the house during power outages.
So I got the "Viore Portable LCD TV 7" PLC7V96" for using
down in my storm shelter.
I compared both, and here is what I noticed
(1) Both will run on 12v
(2) The MyGoTV has 800 x 480 vs the Viore 480 x 234 resolution
(3) Quality wise, MyGoTV feels well made, the Viore feels a bit flimsy
(4) Ease of use, MyGoTV wins, but both TV are fairly easy to use
(5) Both TVs need a good antenna, just like your regular size TV
(6) The LCD on the MyGoTV looks every bit as good as a regular LCD TV
(7) The LCD on the Viore looks a tad washed out, and blocky,
I actually like the Viore TV, its not perfect, and it feels cheaply
made, but it works good.
(A) The LCD may be low resolution, but from two to three feet away it
looks pretty good.
(B) The sound seams acceptable, and loud enough in normal situations.
(C) The remote is a bit odd and I dont like the button placement,
but the remote's size is about 60% to 70% that of a normal one,
so its not to small.
(D) The stand is not very good, its thin and plastic and there is
no adjustment.
(E) The female antenna F-Connector on the TV makes it hard to
screw on a male F-Connector, I had to get some "F-Connector Quick
Disconnect Adapters".
BTW I power the TV down in the storm shelter with a 12v car battery
that's kept charged using a solar panel, and I have a Truck TV antenna
mounted on top of the storm shelter with its own ground rod, and
yes, I meant a TV antenna that goes on a Semi Truck, its small and
weatherproof so why not use it LOL
